I have had this experience in the strangest places. For example, I've been paid to talk to someone about their own business and have had this moment. I have had people do this for very surface level jargon (and I'm sure they didn't need to understand) to tell a joke. I feel like I'm self conscious about this to a fault and it's still a common occurrence.
