Not an album but a band.

People shit on ABBA but they have some really good songs - radio hits and deep cuts. Check out Treat Him Well He Is Your Brother.

Kate Bush the kick inside. I don't think people dislike her but I don't know anyone who would sit through a whole of her albums..

The new stuff with Skiba has some absolute bangers, mostly the ones that have more of his influence when they were written because it sounds different from the generic pop punk that Mark Hoppus and John Feldman seem to insist on writing. Left Alone could easily have been an Alkaline Trio song circa 2005, Misery is great, Darkside (minus the video) is class, 6/8 is so weird and unlike anything they've done before...

Funnily enough I never really liked blink until Matt Skiba came in, and given how much I love Alkaline Trio I had to listen again and didn't hate it, so I kept up with it.

No particular album, but anything by Blood Hound Gang is both "something I find myself liking to listen to" and "understanding that there is lots that is problematic about most of their lyrics"

BSSM is guilty pleasure category? Shit, thats one of my top guilty pleasures then.

Idk if i have a full album thats a guilty pleasure, but I guess I'll use this to say that I think the Marcy Playground S/T debut is underrated. That album is way more than just "Sex and Candy" and is always a good time.

Oh, maybe Citizen King's "Mobile Estates" could count too. I guess I'm just a sucker for albums from one-hit-wonders from the 90s?
