Nice way to to distort my words. I'm criticising the idea of believing in the "illuminati", which implies believing in the existence of some surreal ultra powerful club that dominates the world.
There is no such thing as that group; there are many groups with many different interests, but all of them have one thing in common: they belong to the bourgeois class, and they want to keep their current dictatorship. This is very different from blaming it on the "illuminati", like the "illuminati" are just a few powerful "baddies" with a plan and some weird rituals. I'm sorry, but no, as long as bourgeoise exists, they will try to forward their class interest, and hold power.
Blaming it on the "illuminati" is like when reactionaries blame it on the jews, wrong. No one denies the existence of powerful groups that control/influence our society, but I do deny the belief that those groups are the root/cause of the problem (like reactionaries and conspiracy theorist believe). The problem is capitalism, and those groups and power structures are its symptoms and direct consequences.
