I haven't followed him in a while, but I didn't expect the "Read Settlers whitey" Maoist who can't stop shitting on China to join the DSA.

I don't have any real point of this except to say that it's very funny that for all his online posturing, he couldn't even join something like FRSO or PSL but instead joined DSA instead.

    My local FRSO chapter: 3 confused white dude baby leftists that are insufferable to work with, always trying to control their little fiefdom of organizing while also failing to reach their stated goals because it's just 3 dudes that can't work with others.

    My local PSL chapter: about 10 people and completely rudderless, dealing with sexual assault issues that they tried to bury. A few years back they campaigned for Biden.

    My local CPUSA chapter: they hand out pins at rallies organized by other people and also campaigned for Brandon. Otherwise, radio silence.

    My local DSA chapter: will bring 30 people to your event if you do a minimum of organizing and the worst you'll have to deal with is some baby DSAer talking about how they want universal healthcare. Edit: notably did not campaign for Sleepy Joe.

    My org: super cool but not gonna tell ya about it for opsec reasons lol.

    Anyways, there are worse things than joining the DSA.

        Their local chapter did, not the organization as a whole. I've had similar issues with local chapters of orgs in my area, where they will actively encourage electoralism as the preferable alternative to revolution, even if the official party stance is different.

    Why would you expect a "Maoist who can't stop shitting on China" to join pro-China parties that dislike Maoists. Assuming the two parties would even accept him, from what I hear of their vetting practices
