      i'm not so sure. i feel like this specific kind of nonchalance, a bystander that threatens nothing but blowing your cover, a child at that, basically shot like a US cop would shoot a dog, i think this specific kind of dehumanization is still the purview of western enforcement at the periphery of the empire. something like this happening in the states would start up the street movement again. over there, the street movement is a perpetual thing and is used for the political cover necessary for cops to do something like this and get away with it.

      that's not to say it's not coming for us, though. the war always comes home. eventually, our system will break to the point the street movement becomes a perpetual thing, and then the enforcement methodology of the periphery will come home to be exercised in the imperial core
