Yeah even with the bar tab considered thats an exorbitant price for that little shitty looking burger and what looks like a handful of fries.
ETA: Like Five Guys is considered expensive but you get a ton more burger for less than this one costs lol so.
At first i thought $15.60 for a burger and fries was still ridiculous but then i saw it was NY.

Looks more like he took them off himself, probably didn't read the menu. I'm sure he was pissed about it too.
Some sit down places will put burger toppings on the side and this place seems like one of those.
He might have taken them off though? Like I take tomatoes off my burgers (id leave on my lettuce though).
Oh for sure comrade, its super hard to tell I think and could go ether way. That lettuces just looked a little upscale for my part of town and any time that was the case the toppings were on the side, but those are super close to the fries so I could see it your way.
