I got a call today that my phone labeled as a spam risk. I let it go to voicemail and the message they left said they were the billing office of a local hospital that I had been to for imaging a few months ago. The spam risk label and the lateness of it set off alarm bells so I called the hospital's main number and asked about it. They said that the call definitely didn't originate from the hospital and to not call them or give them any of my information.
So I'm sitting here thinking, if my phone didn't label the call as a risk then I probably would've called back and possibly gotten scammed. And then I'm thinking about how many people are gonna be scammed by these fucks in the future. How many have already been scammed? An old person with a shitty flip phone isn't gonna see "spam risk" they're just gonna answer it and be told they owe money to the hospital.
Of course, it's just as bad as the health insurance companies and shit like that.
In short, anyone that's doing this shit has a scheduled podiatry appointment with Dr. W.D. Chipper, hopefully in the near future.
Douse the blades on the woodchipper in salt and lemon citrus for added splash damage.
