reactionaries have their own versions of these guys too, it's fascinating. The current reactionary mindset is that an impending collapse will simply happen and leave leftism destroyed forever as white people take control over the country. Their wildest dreams aren't a revolution or a genocide, rather, they believe it's all going to come to a single few apocalyptic days where fascists simply win like a prophecy or something.
I admit I go on their forums sometimes, I check out 4chan like a clown idiot, and it's a weird distorted reflection of neoliberals sometimes. They hate the idea of organizing, they hate the idea of change, the most they'll do is talk about voting. But what they really believe in is saying stuff. Spreading awareness, sending Facebook memes. They think by making enough memes they'll influence the structure of reality. Anyone not on board with a memes only approach is declared a glowie aka a fed trying to instigate a mass shooting.

These people are largely very religious, and once you're willing to introduce one sort of magical thinking to your worldview, it's easier to insert others.
Maybe some of them are, but I'm mainly thinking of reactionary internet trash. 4chan idiots who post on /pol/ and the like. Their entire prescription for achieving their political goals is to do nothing but meme.
Yeah a lot of them, then they have contingents whose prescription is doing nothing and awaiting a mystical day of reckoning where everything turns out in their favor

Critical support for them continuing to do that compared to "getting the high score," even if they present themselves as wizard-cowled Wojaks to pretend what they're doing is super smart.
Their wildest dreams aren’t a revolution or a genocide, rather, they believe it’s all going to come to a single few apocalyptic days where fascists simply win like a prophecy or something.

Their "the storm" or "day of the rope" fantasy can and have murdered many, many people, but they see it as a permanent victory, roll credits, where they can then decide who among their own ranks is now a (slur) that needs to be purged next.
The wild part though is how many of them think no preparation at all is necessary to get to that point. They think it will simply happen. That there's a prophesized single day where everything is very chaotic, then the next day everyone goes back to work except now only white people exist.
QAnon want exactly that: their health problems cured by "medbeds," their debts cleared by jubilee, and all of the (slurs) purged except maybe their adult offspring which will crawl back on their hands and knees begging to visit for Thanksgiving.
I see that on reddit when they say "reddit destroyed EA" or some nonsense because they did a meme posting campaign.
I mean sure, here on hexbear we mostly also just post, but at least we're not under the illusion that we're actually accomplishing anything through that.

A lot of chanlords unironically believe in a neonazi version of "The Secret" called "meme magic."

They encourage adventurism, such as "getting the high score" for shooting up schools.
