The Divinity series elves are some of my favorite elves. They’re tall and lanky, but in a very creepy skeletal way instead of a “creepy writer imagining a hot woman” way and can inherit other people’s memories by eating their flesh and they grow into plants when they die. So instead of standard fantasy elves, you have these scary magical cannibals who live in forests composed of their ancestors

Yes! I love whenever I play through D:OS as an elf and am just munching on hands, feet, eyeballs, etc and getting glimpses via inherited memory at how the poor person managed to wind up as my meal. 10/10 lore.
