      Honestly, if the government of Venezuela arrested Juan Guaido and put him on on trial, the United States and other governments would that as justification launch an explicit regime change war (not sanctions, supporting an opposition person or party and/or having a paramilitary group go to the country, but a war by the militaries proper), which (if we are being honest) Venezuela would likely lose.

      Am I wrong in saying that that is why Guaido has not been arrested, for literally committing treason?

        I'd say this is a fair assesment, maybe also they figured he's so fucking lame that it's better to let him fizzle out on his own, rather than make him a martyr.
