Might be an unpopular opinion but I think Trump fucked himself today. There is no way a pardon for any of the shit he has done is going to be on the table now. As soon as he's out the door, there will be hot shot attorney generals lined up wanting to take him down, and a potential trial for treason.
The GOP probably isn't going to want anything to do with Trump or his loyalists now. Unfortunately for them, he's got the party by the balls and the GOP voters as the proved today, are willing to risk their lives for a reality TV star game show host president.
It was his last day to feel loved by his rubes. In pursuit of that feeling of respect and loyalty, he basically completely fucked himself among the DC elite and all of the key power brokers he had relationships with in the past.
