IIRC it was twitter beef from a few months ago where the discourse was about whether or not sex work would exist under communism, with some people saying it wouldn't exist without the monetary needs and other(s) saying it would exist as "mutual sexual aid".
Great example of how bickering over some theoretical point shouldn't get to a place where it hurts our progress towards making that theoretical argument relevant.
On the podcast The Mental Illness Happy Hour a guest was a sex worker who considered herself a sex therapist and made it sound like while she did do it for money she truly believed she was helping people who desperately needed contact and help, I don't think it would necessarily happen like that under some sort of communist utopia but as long as jobs exist and people who need therapy, sex and otherwise, exist I'd bet there will be people who'd do it. Hell, there are people who will throw people a pity fuck for free. But please, I do not want to be in the discourse lol.
