Probably all of these are "late-night anime," which means they’re literally infomercials. The production committee buys a block of informercial time from a network, maybe gets a couple sponsors to offset it, and runs their show at 2:15 AM or something.
All the profit comes from blu-rays, manga, light novels, miniatures, etc.
I wonder if it's cheaper to negotiate the rights to these works.
