Oh if it's like that, I think you'll come around if there's ever an exodus. Any new platform is gonna take some getting used to, especially with the complexities of federation at hand. It'd be an organic thing anyway since it's Twitter's game to lose (mass bans targeting leftists, for instance).
While we're on the topic, how would you feel if the admins spun up our own instance? So you'd be just a couple of clicks away from "tweeting" as skoubalon@chapo.chat on Mastodon

Untick the "Enable advanced web interface" box in preferences and it will look pretty much identical to twitter.

I haven't used it a ton, but in what way?
It's federated/FOSS nature should mean that UI issues can be customized away, but maybe there's a core issue of some sort?
