When did the transphobia start? I've been on this forum for awhile, and awhile back it seemed to be pretty trans positive. Is this just something that happened in the last few months?
Does nobody remember how bad the pronoun struggle session was? I was literally told "The only good tr%nny is a dead tr%nny" for daring to suggest that people click a button to have solidarity with trans people.
its not even necessarily solidarity with trans people! choosing pronouns helps get rid of the internet default assumed-masculine assumption, and neutralizes that aspect of privilege/seediness. and also there are like five 'id rather stay anonymous' options.
I must've not seen that thread, I only go on the site once every once in awhile. I was just wondering if the increase in transphobia came in waves or if it was always present.
Been staying out of this cos I don't exactly feel I have much to add but yeah I remember that and remember how bad it got. Sorry to see u go. Honestly the transphobic stuff isnt just pushing away trans ppl, not that Im saying it should be taken more seriously cos cis (that the right terminology I hope) ppl are also throwing in the towel. Classic abusive behaviour from what I have seen. Keep all the nasty stuff private as possible and wait for the victim to blow up in public. Disgusting.
It's when i stopped really posting here, mostly because it was no longer legal to have fun anymore and the people who said they were pro fun just wanted to keep fetishizing trans people without actually caring about them and iranian morality cops aka volcel police
its been going on for a while but us mods try and delete it whenever it gets reported. The reason trans comrades are leaving is because they obviously see it before its deleted since they are the target of it and get it directly in their inbox. You can check the modlogs to see what we are dealing with. If you see anything please report!
