Regardless, I always used to buy a little more BTC than I needed because you never knew when the price would drop and you'd be stuck with a bill that you could no longer afford to pay. The spare change was never enough to convert back to cash so I'd drop it in a wallet and forget about it.
Well, it's been several years and the price has doubled a few times over in the time since. It's still not much - $200 or so - but it was basically free money considering it started off as my digital change jar.
