I wish Nintendo's suits would stop giving bullshit excuses for why there hasn't been a new modern F-Zero in decades. The claim that they "can't find a way to innovate" is bullshit considering how many other franchises get new entries regularly, gimmick or no gimmick.
That said, this mod for the first game is fantastic.
f-zero is one of those series that i have never touched
which is weird because i really like wipeout, and as far as i know, that's just what if f-zero but sony lol
i need to play them some time
F-Zero GX is so good, so of course Nintendo has abandoned it forever.
I really don't know how they're supposed to improve on GX. Modern visuals and high refresh rate would be amazing though
Allowing AI cars in four player mode as well as not removing like 90% of the background detail would be nice.
Online multiplayer too, imagine the netcode crashes
Nintendi should seriously just do a remaster or something of the sort. But Nintendo also has infamously bad net code, so I'm not sure how they'd handle F Zero GX.
I also held out on playing it for no apparent reason but changed that recently.
F-Zero is great if you find yourself bored soon give it a shot
