Poverty has been growing in Puerto Rico even at a time when more people are working. The unemployment rate fell from 13.1% to 9.9% in 2022, while poverty got worse.

They're just running a bit behind the rest of us. Soon they'll realize there's no point in working if you're still going to be broke and have their own great resignation.
