He wasn't talking about socialism or anything, he went on to talk about "division" and other liberal pablum. But it is interesting that he decided to work in the phrase "specter haunting", isn't it?
To imagine that Chris Hayes's writers are not aware of the first line of perhaps one of the most famous and widely-read works of political writing of all time is kinda cringe.
