One of the best moments of my internet career was posting a video of his on genzedong to talk shit about his weird idealist takes and seeing him pop up in the comments to then get completely dunked on by the sub lol

Zero books is a subsidiary of a larger publisher, I doubt there's that much money in it.
Well, technically it's an imprint. John hunt publishing overall is also a pretty small publisher.
Oh also I don't think he's rich. Lain has primarily been a moderately (as in he made a living off it) successful fiction writer for the last couple decades and is the publishing manager for zero. I've heard his stuff on the fiction end is pretty decent actually but haven't read any of it.
