Ehhh not as true as one may think. Maybe you can’t get some corporate job that “wants you” but if individuals want to leave bad enough they can find a way and survive in a bunch of places around the world. But there will not be a mass exodus. And if you do leave all your family and friends probably aren’t coming along for the ride so you’ll be doing it solo or maybe one other person joins you.
Except libs literally think they will just be able to move and continue living their cushy lives in another country

the transnational neoliberal technocrat PMC have solidarity with each other, do you?
I admit I'm ignorant about this stuff in general, I didn't even know what a visa was until college, I thought you just showed up and said hey.
Surely you knew that some rando from Afghanistan can't just buy a plane ticket to the US and enter? Why would that be different for other countries?
Nah, didn't know that, figured if it weren't for the war then then they could.
True, although from what I hear there are some Caribbean countries that are offering long-term residency deals for relatively cheap directly due to COVID torpedoing the tourist economy. But yeah, emigrating is only a realistic possibility if you're, minimum, a decently well-off PMC.
Edit: here is my source on the residency thing, episode 194 of Privacy Security and OSINT Show with Michael Bazzell
You can easily get into to most of those countries with just a passport and overstay your visa.
Covid complicates this though. Normally you can get a tourist visa just by filling out a form on the plane and turning it in at customs, but right now nobody wants a pipeline of blood coughing yankees entering their country.
