Awful take if unironic. Race is a bullshit construct but it does still have real material consequences for people who are racialized (e.g. Black and Indigenous people). Anti-Black racism, the caste-like racial hierarchy associated with post-Columbian slavery, was rooted in the "need" for the slave system/transatlantic trade to justify itself ideologically, especially to distinguish Irish and other Euro-descended indentured servants from Black Afro-descended slaves. Anti-racism has to be incorporated into any successful anti-capitalist project, and fighting racism requires fighting capitalism.
