This is really heating up. Maybe eventually they'll get someone other than a rich lich to make an accusation

Fun excerpt from her Wikipedia page:

In 2019, Osbourne appeared on the British panel show Would I Lie to You? in which guests make statements about themselves and fellow panellists guess whether or not the statements are true. She claimed that during a house fire she made her assistant go back into the house to save pieces of art. She also claimed that she ripped an oxygen mask off the assistant and gave it to her dog. She then proceeded to fire him when he did not find the situation funny, believing he might have lung damage from smoke inhalation, saying "he showed absolutely no sense of humour" during the fire. After the usual deliberations by fellow panellists, she confirmed the incident to be true.

You have got to remember; this man is 80 years of age. If you were to ask anybody in the street that’s under 40, and you showed them a picture of him, and said, 'Do you know who this is?' Nobody would know.

That's pretty rich coming from someone's whose claim to so-called fame is being married to a famous person, and who someone may have recognized 20 years ago for being on a reality show.

Meanwhile, Jack Osbourne is busy taking friends out to hunt for ghosts and bigfeet and letting the Travel Channel pay for it

when i was a kid, i used to sometimes watch that reality show about the osbournes. where ozzy wandered around and stared off into space like a zombie, the kids were learning to leverage their celebrity-adjacence into notoriety, and sharon "ran" the household by sharply flitting about with all the intensity of someone with de facto conservatorship over a wealthy child. at first glance i was like, "wow she's smart." at second glance she came off as an opportunistic predator.

no part of that revelation surprises me.

I'd only known her from America's Got Talent, but the more I skim her wikipedia page the more she sounds like a cartoon rich English person

In 2004, Osbourne's home in Jordans, Buckinghamshire, was burgled by a man who stole gems worth £2 million. The burglar managed to get away with the gems despite being put in a headlock by Ozzy. Items taken during the burglary included wedding rings, an engagement ring, pearl and diamond necklaces, a large 52 carat (10g) sapphire ring and two pairs of diamond earrings. After the incident, Osbourne appeared on Crimewatch and offered a reward of £100,000 for the return of her valuable jewellery

Osbourne has sent her son's or daughter's feces in Tiffany boxes on more than one occasion to people she felt had unreasonably criticised her or her family. When a journalist criticised her teenage children, Osbourne sent a box of excrement with a note saying, "I heard you've got an eating disorder. Eat this."

    CW: suicide

"You have got to remember; this man is 80 years of age."

    ...said the 70yo.

"If you were to ask anybody in the street that’s under 40, and you showed them a picture of him, and said, 'Do you know who this is?' Nobody would know." "So in today’s music industry, yes he’s got his old fans, but he is not really relevant as far as anybody cares about him… to know what he is doing or anything like that."

Yeah, he's not really relevant to people today or to the music industry. Heck, you could show a hundred people this image and nobody would be able to recognise it!

    Show

    Very insightful take, Sharon.

"I think that he must have really lost the plot. I think he should go and actually take his life…live in an old people’s home and leave the Jews alone."

If you've ever seen Sharon Osbourne speaking then you get the impression that she fancies herself as being the smartest person in the room.

The whole stochastic "kys... lol I actually mean go to a nursing home!!" bit is really on the nose but I can imagine the wry smile on her face when she said this, thinking that nobody would ever be savvy enough to notice what she was really saying.

Edit: Well gee whiz! Sharon Osbourne didn't have a single thing to say on her active twitter account about her siblings in the Commonwealth celebrating a man who was in the Galician Waffen SS which, famously, left the Jews alone.

    Imagine my shock.

    Edit 2:

“I have full faith in our King that he's going to do the right thing by his country”.

Sharon Osbourne believes King Charles will become "more modern as far as the pomp goes" in the royal family.

Sharon is the Yoko of metal. I really hope that doesn't come off sexist, but like...she's wrecked so much shit.

I know the Yoko issue is complicated, but ya know, public perception and all.

    I'll stop rambling.

She did one good thing: before she married Ozzy, she was the one who introduced Ronnie James Dio to Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler after Black Sabbath had split with Ozzy. Sharon Osbourne is indirectly responsible for Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules. Granted, those plus the Live Evil album weren't great for the mental health of anyone involved, but hey -- "War Pigs" with frickin' Dio on vocals? Sign me the fuck up.

I may be misremembering, but isn't she a part of the reason Bill Ward didn't join the reunion tour or am I thinking of something else? That was ten years ago so I'm probably not remembering

At least Yoko has made interesting stuff.
