I like Matt, he's got a great chill-vibe and seems like genuinely good and funny dude. And Thought Slime definitely helped me in my early radicilization.

That being said, yeah stuff like citing Zenz started to make me do a double take. Then, hearing him say he doesn't understand ML/statist arguments at all while in the next breath providing a reading list that is exclusively anarchist and saying he's never read non-anarchist theory was a big "yikes". I kinda stay away from his main political stuff lately and just watch Scaredy Cats instead.

speciesism Is truly the fertile ground in which all bigotry is grown. That’s what “dehumanization” is right? Animal rights are a vector for the liberation of wildness. We really have to unpack this genocide we’ve committed as a species. I truly think all comrades must consider whether they are able to abandon carnism and if they, are do it. Don’t be so cynical you can’t spot a good idea.

he's 90% carelord and you get tilted by 1 edgy joke about eating meat?

edit: i'm sorry this comment was so confrontational in tone, your criticism is reasonable

Most of this vid is fine, but there’s a lot of bad takes.* Some shitty radlib on the internet makes TS “want to eat animal products out of shame.” What? Seriously fucked thing to say. In what other social justice cause would radlibs being radlibs make you want to harm those you’re fighting for?

Absolutely positive that is a bit of dark humor and hyperbolic language for effect.

Okay, I was unclear, I thought you might figure they were doing a "minority scuffed my shoes one time and now I'm a Nazi" but for real.

But I can agree that I'm getting too old for those types of jokes these days.
