In my opinion her points gave more introspection for the cause

and to be fair sams crew would attack her & jimmy on a personal level that was gross

She's been attacking people on personal level on Twitter for weeks over this shit. She also sat by while Dore personally attacked a bunch of people who are otherwise well meaning and supposed to be her allies and didn't say shit.

I can pick out many examples from a hat with MR & his 1 million subscriber platform compared to Bries twitter.. Her platform has been all policy. I had been a viewer until now by his complete smugness & personal attack pettiness in bad faith unironically

Wish michael brooks was part of the dialogue.

People see the shit she posts and likes.

Why are you talking to me like I am defending Sam Seder? As I already said, both BJG and Sam Seder have acted like petulant liberal children. BJG sat down on camera and let Jimmy Dore talk a bunch of shit about people who she runs in the same circle as and said nothing to defend them, and in some cases joined in briefly before being too cowardly and just deleting it, fearing the consequences, and I am supposed to see her as a victim? Am I supposed to be surprised or offended that the people who consider her a friend and ally decided to give it back to her?

This whole FTV shit wasn't even about M4A, it was about building the Posters' Party and getting people to go on Dore's show

Oh, and here's and idea of what Michael Brooks would have said about all of this:

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lhn89O_Z96M

I'm not really sure how the fuck you could have listened to anything Michael ever said, especially before his death, about how the left needs to carry itself and talk and treat to people, and expect him to turn around and say, "Yes, this movement that has called people like Cori Bush and AOC sellouts is actually a good and useful movement." But who knows, maybe like BJG said, Michael would have agreed if he with her if he just could have read her article, which is definitely not a narcissistic thing to say.

Given that this all started off of some dickhead saying "Support my tactic or you are an enemy of the left," what more would you expect other than petty drama?

You are right, I am sorry, I shouldn't be hostile to a movement whose only tangible outcome has been dividing the left by primarily making its case by accusing anyone who disagrees with the tactic of being a sellout and an enemy. My apologies. You are also right, we should definitely not consider any material motivations that the people leading this movement might actually have, especially ones they have openly admitted to having.

even i don’t call MR a grifter whos guided solely on making money. nor do i think #forcethevote is about Jimmy Dore. I think all politicians are prone to Washington Brains & need to be called out. But the Ben Dixon style approach of accusing people of being plants & grifters is more divisive & better example of circular firing going on the left which wouldn’t happen as severely with MR solidarity

Americans will never get universal healthcare. Working with the Democratic Party will never lead to even the smallest victory. Both sides of this bullshit are utterly pointless nonsense from people who still fundamentally believe that Democrats are good guys and Republicans are bad guys.

They people leading the FTV movement have literally split, antagonized, and smeared people who are working outside of Democratic Party apparatus to get people healthcare because they don't think this tactic will work. Which of course it won't, because it was intentionally designed to help the Posters Party, not work towards getting people healthcare.

Yeah both sides of this argument are total dumbasses for thinking that they will ever see their interests represented in literally way in American politics.

My argument from the beginning over this tactic is that for M4A to happen, there will have to be sufficient organization outside of Congress to be able to cause sufficient harm to the capitalist class such that M4A is the more preferable alternative, which obviously involves a great deal of labor organizing and other organizing efforts. And that as such, this FTV movement, which supposed that they can rely on the corporate media to highlight, in the movements favor, a spectacle showing why the Democratic Party as a whole won't deliver M4A, and from which a new movement will spontaneously spring forth, will not be successful. It relies on the capitalist media to cover the fight at all, let alone in a way favorable to the movement, and supposed that 'if the people just knew" that they would rise up. If FTV came near the end of an organizational strategy that was coupled with strike actions, boycotts, etc. I think it might be an effective tactic to get M4A.

When I initially voiced that sort of criticism when this all initially started, I was accused of not wanting people to have healthcare. So apologies for being hostile to you personally, but I've reached the end of my rope with a lot of the people pushing this shit.

Nobody should have ever taught DSA liberals the word "wrecker" because they use it to mean "Someone who criticizes my liberal friends".

The subreddit really goes after her. There are usually multiple post a day complaining about her attitude on Twitter, the best was one saying she was the main reason Bernie lost. It’s weird because she never really gets brought up when I watch the show. I ask someone what’s you guy’s deal with her. This whole FTV thing isn’t really being talked about ad naseum on other left spaces. The reply was “ that’s not true, it’s a big discussion on the V——-h sub”. It all makes sense now

Whole thing was hard to watch but I've had FTV stuff largely tuned out so I wanted to watch the heavyweight wonks (so to speak) go at it. Cane away with my original view intact that I'm not opposed to FingTV but I really don't think it's going to make any significant difference either way.

The point that was new to me here was the idea of getting media attention on the vote and the fight around the vote, but frankly I think they'd have no problem giving it barely any attention and justifying that by pointing out that it's destined for failure and therefore not a big deal.

Admittedly I was splitting my attention with Hitman 3 so I may have missed something.
