I unsubbed from MR after Michael Brooks death. There is no left anchor on that show anymore. Thought Jamie could step in and sort of fill that void, but she still seems to be relegated to a 3rd string, or maybe she just doesn't really care for that spotlight.
Same. I'm still not sure myself but think about it like this: producers do whatever a director doesn't do. It can be from making sure the set is ready on time to making sure there's a coherent vision between everyone involved. It's a really big tent. A lot of the time a producer is the guy that hires a director or screenwriter in the first place. That's why there's always a ton of them in the credits. Executive Producer is basically anyone you want to credit but they didn't do enough to get a full producer billing.
For a radio show like MR the producer is the person looking out that things run during while the host does the hosting. So taking listener calls, puting in ad breaks, going live, monitoring levels and the broadcast. Things like that.

She's a producer at the show and not a host so 🤷♀️
i used to think producers just like give money and take credit. what do they do other than be rich?

I still remember Ken Ken & Ken on MR when sam & brooks cosplayed up like smug conservative brooklynites https://ibb.co/zSKp657 Those were the days.
it’s taken a more liberalism / trump coverage turn now
No.
?
Yeah those characters were from Boston I think. Or some part of Massachusetts
The characters that they were playing were from somewhere other than Brooklyn.
lol I was expecting them to be dressed in grey, two sizes too large suits going to a libertarian conference.

I'm on the Antifada discord, she said it there one day, and she also said that she'd rather be on full-time.
