My bf is able to get there on a largely vegan diet, it's possible but again the food is pretty bland tasting. Seitan is the big deal there. He still eats meat though, says the flavors are too depressing for cheap without meat. Need to pay for a lot of spices to make it not depressing, then the cost is more than a basic meat meal. But I do think flavor science is improving vegan weightlifting options at a fast pace
