what we're doing is using identity politics to make the terrain of niche political debates less complicated. the "white vegan" is useful if you don't like racism but also hate veganism. the "white carnist" is ridiculous, because that's just a normal, well adjusted type of person, so how could their race and diet have anything to do with each other? a native who is vegan makes even less sense, and it's unlikely that such a thing could even be conceived of.
