Not that I'd want to meet anyone that would post on a site like this IRL or anything.

edit: alright alright It's a stupid idea. I am going to post hexbears on lamposts in my local area or something.

edit: maybe not so dumb for rural areas? The priority should be joining local orgs if you’re in an urban area.

      I thought there must be some way, using absolute best practice, of doing something IRL. You could probably decide based on long, detailed pm convos or something, whether someone was legit.

          I mean, I'm doing some community volunteer stuff, shopping deliveries for the elderly during covid. My colleagues aren't exactly up on the latest memes though. They haven't got online brain, basically.
