Wait that's a render?! Looks like you just took a stock photo for your new loose leaf tea merchant site.
I copied the stock image used for the mega thread a couple days ago
Yeah but your render looks like a better photo than the actual stock photo.
It's easy to get perfect compositing when you control the material reality of the scene
:stalin-shining:
Give me an idea for a megathread image a few days in advance and I'll try and make something
Doughnut and Chair tutorials by the Blender Guru are kinda the canon starting point. From there start trying to copy things from either detailed reference, or just photographs.
There are a billion shortcuts, but he goes over the ones you'll use 80% of the time in those tutorials and the rest you'll kinda just pick up as you need to.
The OpenVFX Blender discord is pretty good for getting quick help with problems too. I'm usually on there giving out help.
it so real like I can reach my hand out and take a bite out of that plate, then be sent to the hospital because I ate glass. your work is absolutely amazing
Weird, I don't see why model size would make any difference compared to complexity and render resolution
The only thing that should effect render times is subdivision detail. You might have had the render resolution too high?
