    According to the article this is natural due to the Tonga volcanic eruption but climate scientists seem to suspect that wildfires can also contribute to this. Since climate change is causing more wildfires we can potentially expect ozone holes to be a thing again.

    yay! this time we dont do anything abt it! it was easy in the 80s, we just had to stop using CFCs and halons

    China will probably do the most abt it and amerika will spin it as a horrible thing. it’s sad to think that there’s a good chance humanity will go extinct or take a massive population hit in the next century

    The poles don't get enough solar radiation to convert oxygen to ozone. I thought this was established during the last "hole in the ozone layer" craze.
