I'm so fucking sick of living in this straight fucking world where nobody fucking cares about us enough to make it a livable place to exist

Honestly not an exaggeration to say she was one of the most influential musical artists of the last decade.

Oil of Every Pearls Un-Insides was an incredible record, to think of the brilliant shit she would have probably gone on to make is heartbreaking :(

All they said was she died "due to a sudden accident", apparently.

In the official press release it says she climbed up to see the moon, then tripped and fell. It’s worded very crassly, almost reads like a joke, the banality of it is insane.

    It's OK To Cry :cat-trans: :deeper-sadness:

Such a huge loss. I can't even begin to believe this. She had so much left to share.

the lack of engagement with this post really says something about the state of this fucking site.

sophie was a fucking real one, her shit fucking slaps, and she, along with her contemporaries/ colleagues, have made pop music way more interesting and experimental, and experimental music fucking fun. her best work was ahead of her, and to be denied this is a fucking bummer.

    rip queen.
