In recent weeks Newsom has vetoed -
-
A union-supported bill that would have banned driverless testing of autonomous trucks
-
A bill banning caste discrimination
And last year he vetoed a bill that would have banned solitary confinement lasting longer than 15 days - something that the UN considers torture.
Gruesome Newsom on quite the streak. Still, one has to wonder if these bills only ever made it to his desk on the condition he would veto them, to tease people into harder mentality.
Maybe I'm wrong about that, but it does seem awfully convenient to legitimize a system that a passive observer would consider "working, but just one person ruined it" (if one person can fuck the whole thing, how is that viable?)
