This is something I've wondered about but never really seen an official leftist position on, and it's gotten a lot more relevant with the ongoing Palestinian uprising. Also curious if there is any good reading out there on this subject.

    As someone who's been priced out of the housing market and property ownership, it's fun arguing with libs about landback. They can't appeal to my sense of fairness (thieves don't deserve to keep their stolen goods) and they can't appeal to my selfishness.
