    literally nothing of value was given back to this community over the past several years except a bunch of flimsy millennial marketing that panders to the "current thing" (wow i love when my favourite game panders to me about lettuce guac bacon and tomato and skin color all the time!)

    im confused about why i should give a fuck? i played RL for a while and im like "people were trading shit?" I guess selling digital trinkets was a source of income for a bunch of nerds.

      If you never purchase any items then obv you have nothing to worry about.

      Looking for a fennec? No longer can you simply find one that a player has in duplicate for a few bucks, or get it from your older sibling or friend. You will pay whatever Epic decides it is worth.

      Idk if they mentioned something specific about new dupe handling features but you would be forced to trade in your dupes for random trash that you also don't want (and could have in duplicate again).

      It's pretty obvious to Epic that the credits should only flow in one direction: from the player into epics pocket.
