I just argued with a friend about his class reductionism and noticed that I need to read more theory.
And as this Problem seems to be pretty big in the left of the global north. I thought it would be useful to have collection of texts about the issue. I also think adding a folder about this topic to the theory collection would be nice.
Thanks in advance, i did not have much luck finding stuff by myself.
On mobile so I dont have a link, but Prairie Fire by the Weather Underground makes a case for intersectional anti-imperialism from before intersectionality was even a thing.
Thank you a lot.
idk if you're still interested, but Hammer and Hoe: Alabama Communists During the Great Depression is a really interesting look at Communist Party efforts to organize black workers. While it's a historical work and not really theory, the book makes clear the relationship between whites and black workers as well as the anti-communism of the black bourgeoisie which might help to clarify the pitfalls of class reduction and the necessity of a revolutionary identity politic.
Also here is Prairie Fire in case you couldn't find it.
Thank you, I am still interested and thid is very helpful.
