Looking for books about the history of Palestine. Not specifically recent stuff, but if you have a good book that only covers the last 50 years or whatever that's welcome too. Mainly interested in books by academic historians but if y'all have some favorite memoirs or things of that nature I would appreciate it as well. Thanks.

Finkelstein's Gaza: An Inquest Into Its Martyrdom is incredible, though iirc it only covers the '08, '12, '14 onslaughts.

Chomsky's Fateful Triangle is the best book I know of on the subject.

Good 101 intro is 10 Myths About Israel. It's not as good towards the end because the author is an anti-Zionist Israeli instead of a Palestinian, but everything else is a good intro to the topic. The Empire Files also has several videos about Palestine.

Palestine: A Socialist Introduction ebook is free right now from Haymarket Books. I haven't started it yet, but a friend I trust recommended it.

Yeah I heard some weird stuff about it but maybe its like 99% good? Like you just ignore a section/use critical thinking skills and its overall a good resource on Palestine, idk

I haven't read it but the criticism i heard was "The book opens with a Kanafani quote but then denigrating the org he belonged too"
