    This is interesting to watch for sure, since tech/internet seems to be one of the few sectors in China that isn't dominated by state firms (unlike energy, food, heavy industry, construction, or even finance) but controlled instead by private capital monopolies.

    Also I'm not seeing credible sources saying that China is actually in process of nationalizing Alibaba (they freaking should—would love to see the meltdown cries of 国进民退 “THE STATE IS IN ADVANCE WHILE PRIVATE OWNERSHIP IS IN RETREAT!!!" ). I know they are hitting them hard with anti-monopoly laws (someone show it to Liz Warren lol).

      Even if they nationalize them it doesn't stop certain exploitation. I mean state owned corps on the B&R initiative hire private security cough mercenary cough companies all the time that are the same corps hired by western companies.
