I remember playing the OG Half-Life when it first came out. Just looked it up and turns out that was 1998.

If you’ve never played the original Black Mesa will probably hold your attention better due to it being prettier and having a few gameplay modernizations.
Most ppl who played the original when it was new will prefer that due to memories or whatnot but Black Mesa is definitely a worthy remake and you won’t really be missing out on anything from the OG. The last chapters of Black Mesa are better (even if a bit long) IMO.
Black Mesa is a 9.5/10 experience. One of the best games I've played. I also played HL:S a few years ago and I didn't like that as much as I did Black Mesa, but again, that was years ago so it's a lot less fresh.
I never played the original Half-Life before. I played Black Mesa way back when it was first released and I thought it was pretty well-done. Nothing beats Half-Life 2 though. Did they ever finish the second half?
I prefer the original, honestly. There's just a certain... something that feels missing from Black Mesa.
How do I download Half-Life for free? I can't get the pirated one on my computer to work.
