can someone explain what he's refering to? Lycurgus, as far as I remember, passed a bunch of austere laws, made the currency worthless so Spartans couldn't be made soft by trade or corrupted with bribes, and then went into exile for decades so no one could complain to him about his terrible laws.
I think he looked up "who founded based epic 300 Spartans" on Wikipedia and name-dropped the based man that was not the guy from the movie because now he seems extra learned.
