The Main Character must really feel like the most special bestest boy because he dug several entries down to find Lycurgus and his wholesome chungus Spartans like in the Snyder treats. galaxy-brain

This guy just becomes more and more of the Platonic form of a Redditor every day. He is just a few months away from physically transforming into "Snoo"

@Zodiark@hexbear.net may likely second my claim that if Aether crystals were real, like in FFXIV, and if a bunch of Redditors stood by a pile of them and prayed really hard for techno-fiefdoms with, quoting their god, "catgirls genetically engineered for domestic use JB-shining-aggro " on Mars, they could summon a Primal of pure bazinga that'd be basically my-hero with some tankbusters, an ultimate, and three boss phases. The soundtrack would be really fucking cringe though.

Is Elon calling for the enslavement of Palestinians as the Helots?

can someone explain what he's refering to? Lycurgus, as far as I remember, passed a bunch of austere laws, made the currency worthless so Spartans couldn't be made soft by trade or corrupted with bribes, and then went into exile for decades so no one could complain to him about his terrible laws.

I think he looked up "who founded based epic 300 Spartans" on Wikipedia and name-dropped the based man that was not the guy from the movie because now he seems extra learned.

The technoking has spoken and I have so many questions:

So he wants Palestine to become Israel's Helots?

But aren't they already a segregated underclass that their oppressor kills for shits and giggles? How would slapping a bronze age coat of paint on it fix this?

How'd having Helots work out for the Spartans, Elon? What happened to Sparta?

They were based epic supersoldiers like in the Halo treats. That's as far as he read about them.

I don't think he truly understands the irony of what he typed, 'cos the Helots regularly revolted against Spartan rule until eventually they successfully overthrew them and Athens had to intervene to stop Sparta being completely destroyed.

He also tweeted that the US needed a Sulla to save it. Even though everything Sulla did was completely undone and the Republic ended anyway in like one generation after. (Not to mention everything else wrong with that idea)

Turns out skimming wikipedia to try to sound informed on a subject isn't a good replacement to actually reading up on it.

Zuck actually works out, which ironically makes him less of a Sparta Guy. Peak Sparta Guy is a retired cop teaching gym class at a highschool. He tells you he's really into history, but he really only knows the dates that notable military campaigns began and he seems to think the civil rights movement and the civil war were the same thing.

If he is, he also believes he is the reincarnation of Augustus Caesar. Double-dipping in the Main Character euphoria.

actually I'd wager that a more effective, though perhaps slightly more tenuous course of action, would be to as best as possible mimic voldyblopzschenstein's policy towards the slovomoldakians in the 4th skirmish for the dominion Latsnistrjavik

i literally don't get it. how would even a masturbatory fantasy of sparta do anything for the situation. if israel just got buffer and more militaristic palestinians would be too afraid to fight back? but this is instead of bombing gaza into dust, why would Spartiate Israel be any less inclined to inflict violence.
