I'm not posting the link to the Discord because I'm really not interested in collecting inactive shitlibs who won't actually help but will act like they're the most based shit around for simply joining.
If you're interested in getting involved and doing some praxis, 15-30 minutes per day of sourcing memes, watermarking, or posting to various social media platforms is all it could take. At the bare minimum, just remember to post dank memes there if that's all you have the energy for.
It's pretty beautiful so far but I know it could be expanded upon with more hands. If you're pretty active here and want to get involved with this project, drop a comment or DM me.
Edit: 15-30 minutes per day is honestly a gross over-estimate. It really doesn't require that much, but I do want people who will give a fuck enough to actually follow through with helping and following the procedures setup for keeping track of things.

I feel like problem with Matrix is that it (to me) feels like a disconnected blob of feeds. Makes it feel like a lot to wade through just to get started. So I haven't really gotten into it.
Neat. I do feel like I should give Matrix a second go anyway, but if Spaces is actually around the corner it may make sense to wait.
Also, the problem with Discord isn't Discord. Matrix bad too because Matrix is Discord.
Any sort of chatroom-like platform becomes an unmanageable flurry of shit after more than like 50 users join. The nice thing of the reddit clones is that I can pop in a few times a day and it takes 15 minutes to see if anyone has managed to cobble together something vaguely funny, which becomes impossible in a Discord/Matrix.
