      I mean yeah the modern ANC leadership sold out and is solidly neoliberal, the current president (Cyril Ramaphosa) used to own McDonald's South Africa and was a key shareholder involved in the Marikana massacre. South Africa also just got another IMF loan. It's still 100 times better than apartheid of course.
