Why would a journalist use "[She] was suspended on twitter, after several complaints from users for her xenophobic comments" for the headline instead of "[She] was suspended from twitter for her xenophobic comments"?
The same reason you end up with bullshit headlines almost as stupid as "innocent black man in Missouri dead after being hit by several lead metal pieces at high velocity during a possibly related police intervention" instead of "innocent black man assassinated by cops".
