It's not open. I've never come out to anyone except my gf who is bi herself. And a little bit about how I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a same-sex partner in a hypothetical situation where I became single again to our oldest kid who is probably LGBT herself but that was more about letting her know that I wouldn't be an asshole if she came out as LGBT.
You're still bi if you're in a hetero relationship :) it's not an "in theory" thing
