I had apprehensions about wallbreaks but they're actually pretty cool. You can choose to let them drop and keep up pressure, or push through for big damage/meter gain. It seems like you're still in advantage after a transition because you land on your feet and your opponent lands in a knockdown state so you have oki options, even if they're somewhat limited.
