Got to love how this city has seen the absolute decay of the South and West sides over the past 50+ years, and people outside of those areas don't give a fuck and ignore it.

Seriously though, I hope they loot and burn the loop to the ground. The loop is just a glorified urban playground for tourists, suburban fatcats and finance chuds who are way too wealthy for their own good.
most city subreddits are pretty reactionary, but r/chicago is exclusively people going "Look I'm extremely progressive, but police need full authority to execute jay walkers on the spot"
Cleveland’s had a rough time in general, but the Hough neighborhood where its riots were has about 1/6 of its peak 60’s population and probably still falling.
