i've always dressed pretty butch, in part because I've never been comfortable being perceived as particularly feminine, and in part because a lot of the women's clothes ("women's clothes") are super irritating and my autistic ass cannot handle a cap sleeves or non-pockets.
That said, fashion got a lot more fun for me once I started playing with gender a bit more and incorporating some more feminine pieces into my wardrobe. Give me a cardigan that looks like some grandma wallpaper that I can wear under my varsity jacket with my stompy boots, that shit's fun
