Semi serious question

In the comics currently Utopia, a mutant nation he is involved in along with basically all the other mutant leaders, good and bad, is an ethnostate but there's no oppressed minority because it literally is all mutants. Just a separate nation they created because they felt they would never be safe as part of human society. Doesn't really work as an Israel allegory, because they aren't taking anyone else's land (its literally an island that is itself a mutant that they live on) or oppressing a minority.

(also for some reason that they never explain Northstar's human husband is able to go there even though the gates to the place only allow through mutants. I think he's the only human allowed)

In the past Magneto did create the mutant ethnostate Genosha, where i believe humans did exist and were oppressed, which actually serves as a pretty good Israel allegory.

But Magneto has been written with different levels of extremity over the years so the real answer here is "depends on who's writing him". By my interpretation of Magneto, he would support Israel in theory at first, but then identify more with the Palestinians after seeing how things worked out.

Remember when Grant Morrison had such a hate boner for Magneto that he decided to write him as literally doing a human holocaust in New York, ovens and everything, and it was so bad and everyone hated it to the point where Marvel had to retcon it out of existence?

There are few humans allowed on krackoa. It’s up to the island (also a mutant) if humans can pass the gates. It’s pretty much invite only if you’re human. Also Kate pride can’t go through the gates. I know way too much about hickmans x-men

I think it was explained as having something to do with the nature of her powers somewhere around the time she was resurrected after being killed by Shaw

Ooo I thought Northstar's husband was the only one. I also thought Moira being retconed as a mutant was so she could fit into Krakoa.

I'm not sure how much we can use House of M as an example, but Magneto seemed just fine placing one group (mutants) above another (humans) so based on that it seems possible he'd support Israel. However, I think it can be agreed he'd oppose Israel like he opposes all other nations due to their subjugation of mutants.

Nah. He identifies more with mutants than humans. At best he wouldn’t care. More likely he would view them as an arm of the American military and treat them accordingly.

I just realized that the comic book characters always stay the same age, so how long are they gonna be able to do the holocaust survivor thing for before he's like 100 years old? Are they just gonna stop mentioning it?

Comics get up to all sorts of shenanigans, so he could be de-aged, thrown forward in time, possess a new body, there's any number of ways to keep the backstory, unless they just rewrite it. He might even just die of old age at some point.

More important question, does Ian McKellen supports Israel?

In some versions, Magneto went to Israel and met Xavier there. He probably gave up on Israel once he found out how they steal territory, just like all other humans.

He’s also become anti-capitalist under some writers, and trying to create an ideology for mutants.
