foss is good and all but holy shit its community has a lot of weirdos
FOSS is cool because its literally having digital means of production. FOSS bros are often libertarian dipshits because they don't understand you can't GPL land or factories, no matter how much they try.
jesus fucking christ, why does this dork hate GNU so much? like, plan 9 was cool or whatever but imagine trying to resurrect it because you hate the GPL
it's a good thing that essay's multiple decades out of date
Unix is actually compiled in chess notation so don’t mess around with it.
The incompatible driver thing is not going to work in Win10, I'm afraid. That was my goto solution for a fucked up keyboard on a laptop I have back when it had Windows 7, but it doesn't work anymore.
Get out your screwdriver
Windows 8 is literally the fucking worst. I remember going to a LAN party where a rich kid had just got their brand new laptop (at the time) with windows 8, and straight up asking them how the fuck they could use it.
This is the putting a stick into a bike wheel meme. You are using a proprietary operating system and expect it to respect your authority.
Hey, sorry if that sounded like a diss, it wasn't.
The command line in Linux is there to give you the freedom to customize your computer beyond what's been provided by the distro. If you don't want to do that then there's no need to ever open the terminal.
Of course, the terminal is also there to fix low-level stuff, but that's also the case on Windows with regedit, compmgmt.msc, cmd, powershell, etc.
is there a way to open it up and remove the keyboard physically?
Little did they know that chess/tv.app was physically installed on the cpu.
Remember when the owner of apple was so high on his own farts that instead of treating his cancer he killed himself with cracker-bullshitology?
Good times
How much stuff actually still runs on Python 2? Would have thought everything would be ported to Python 3 by now.
Why even bother uninstalling it though? It's not constantly running, it barely takes up any space, just ignore it.
